Search Warrant Leads To Arrest

Police of the 114th Precinct on Tuesday, July 17 executed the 31st search warrant of 2007 at 37-14 Ditmars Blvd. A 39-year-old Asian male was found in possession of stolen property and charged with falsification of business records, criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny.

Also on July 17:

• A 39-year-old black male was charged with forcible touching after he touched a victim inappropriately. The incident occurred at 23rd Terrace and 19th Street.

• A 22-year-old black male was charged with disorderly conduct for unnecessarily breaking glass bottles at 32nd Street and Broadway.

• A 16-year-old Hispanic male was charged with robbery, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of stolen property and disorderly conduct after he forcibly stole a victim's bicycle at 43rd Street and 23rd Avenue.

• A 21-year-old black male was charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana after he was found in possession of marijuana at 33-15 36th Ave. and discovered to be wanted on an active warrant.

• A 26-year-old Hispanic female was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and failing to exercise control of a minor after she was found with a razor blade at 21-33 31st Ave.

Monday, July 16:

• Two 25-year-old white males and a 29-year-old Hispanic male igniting and throwing fireworks off the roof of 42-14 28th Ave. were charged with reckless endangerment, criminal trespass, unlawful dealing and disorderly conduct.

• Two white males 32 and 43 years old were charged with criminal possession of stolen property after they were found inside a stolen vehicle at Ditmars Boulevard and 46th Street.

• A 21-year-old white male was charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and criminal possession of marijuana after he was observed smoking marijuana in public at 21-08 21st Rd.

Sunday, July 15:

• At 8-10 27th Ave., a 27-year-old Hispanic male threw an object at another Hispanic male 25 years old, causing an injury. The 25-year-old male struck the 27-year-old about the body. Both were charged with reckless endangerment, assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.

• A 27-year-old Hispanic male proceeding along Vernon Boulevard from 34th Avenue to 33rd Road was found in possession of a knife in public and charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

• A 24-year-old Hispanic male was charged with urinating in public after he was observed urinating on a public sidewalk at Ditmars and Shore Boulevards.

• A 21-year-old Hispanic male was charged with assault, criminal mischief and harassment after he broke the windshield of a victim's vehicle and punched the victim in the face. The incident took place at 37th Avenue and 31st Street.

• Two white females 20 and 48 years old were charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after they refused to leave the intersection of 23rd Avenue and 28th Street.

• Two white males 17 and 20 years old, a 19- year-old black male and a 20-year-old Hispanic male were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, disorderly conduct, tampering with physical evidence, criminal sale of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana after they were observed dealing marijuana at 32-36 Steinway St.

• A 24-year-old Hispanic male was charged with obstructing governmental administration and criminal possession of marijuana after he was observed with marijuana in public at 20-24 31st St. and fled.

• A 21-year-old Hispanic male made a turn at a high rate of speed and when he was stopped at 28-51 Steinway St., exhibited signs of intoxication. He was charged with DWI, failing to obey a traffic device and failing to keep to the right.

• A 33-year-old black male was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny after he was observed stealing merchandise from 32-50 Vernon Blvd.
