Has Questions For MTA
To The Editor:

I have a few questions for the MTA Executive Director Lee Sander.

#1- Whatever happened to the surplus that the MTA reported and that was to save the fare for a few years?

#2 -What is the MTA doing to cut waste and trim the budget that would save the fare?

# 3- Will the MTA be willing to show the public the books and show us how the money is being spent?

Finally, let me say this in closing: my company a number of years back asked the employees to forego a raise for the next three years to save the company, which we did. Now are the MTA employees willing to do the same and are the executives willing to take a cut in pay to save the fare? This, I think, would give the MTA the respect of the riding public. So what do you say?
