No North American Union!
To The Editor:

Our press continues to misinform and un-inform us when we are not apprised of a very real threat to our freedom. The threat is the North American Union (NAU). Global elites have determined to merge our nation into a super-state where unelected bureaucrats, rather than our Congress, would determine our policies and laws. This erosion of our national sovereignty and God-given rights would occur if Mexico and Canada join us in a union establishing common economic, political and military directorates.

The U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independence uphold rights we have from God. Our government was established in a limited fashion with Congress maintaining pre-eminent power. Power was vested in Congress to assure the people of the United States had a voice and control over their government. People having control of their own government, their policies, determinations, outcomes, seems an obscene idea to these global elites who intend to retain all power unto themselves.

A North American Union would be guided by a board or authority of politically connected bureaucrats bound to make decisions in line with those global elites who have appointed them. This "Soviet" style political arrangement is foreign to the constitutional philosophy of representative government with separation of powers. Our constitutional system is most likely to guarantee personal freedom and a balanced political order. Our Constitution upholds our rights; trying to go around the Constitution by bureaucratic means is not just an insult to the people who live under it, the founders who signed it, but a direct assault on our freedom. We must detract and disband any effort toward a North American Union. Write your congressman and senators!
Sincerely,
Vytautas Vileniskis
