CALDC Children's Series Continues Through August Coalition (CALDC) will continue on Tuesday, July 31 in Athens Square Park, 30th Avenue and 30th Street, and on Wednesday, August 1 at the Dutch Kills Playground, 36th Avenue and Crescent Street. Children can meet the characters in Prokofiev's well-known classic tale, "Peter and the Wolf" through the sounds of a woodwind quintet and the characterizations of a dynamic storyteller with Scottie Davis' adaptation of the work. Performances start at 10:30 a.m. The Summer Fun Children's Series, which will continue each Tuesday and Wednesday through August 8, provides entertainment featuring artists specializing in children's performances in the fields of music, storytelling and theater. Over the years, these performances have been greatly enjoyed by children of all ages. This year's series will be the best yet. The following performances are also scheduled:
