'Exams For Jobs Guide' Available Now

Assemblymember Audrey I. Pheffer (D-Queens) is pleased to announce that she has recently received the Exams for Jobs Guide from the Department of Citywide Administrative Services. "The Exams for Jobs Guide provides a brief description of duties and education/experience needed for the positions that will be opening. This is a handy reference guide so that those seeking employment have a starting point to enter into New York City government," said Pheffer.

The guides are valid from July through December of 2007 and offer a schedule of exams for New York City government positions that will be coming available.

Applicants can log onto www.nyc.gov/dcas at the start of the scheduled filing period to view and print the official "Notice of Examination" and application form, or they can also obtain this information in person at the DCAS Applications Center, 18 Washington St., in Manhattan, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
