114th Police Precinct Blotter Friday, July 6: • Three white males, one 20 years old and two 25 years old, were charged with criminal trespass after they were found on property at Northern Boulevard and 47th Street without permission. • A 20-year-old Hispanic male observed drinking beer at Shore Boulevard and Astoria Park South refused to leave the location and was charged with disorderly conduct and having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public. • A 53-year-old black male was charged with robbery and criminal possession of a weapon after he threatened a victim with a knife to get the victim's money at Queens Plaza North and 24th Street. • A 30-year-old black male observed running a red light was stopped at 37th Street and 35th Avenue and found to have a suspended license. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operator and traffic device violation. • A 31-year-old white male found in charge of an establishment at 33-22 28th Ave. where alcohol was sold after hours without a license was charged with running an unlicensed bottle club, engaging in the prohibited sale of alcohol, and operating an unlicensed warehouse used for the storage of liquor. • A 25-year-old black male was observed double parked at 33-08 Broadway and found in possession of marijuana and to have a suspended license. He was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, aggravated unlicensed operator and obstructing traffic at an intersection. • A 16-year-old black male was charged with criminal possession of a weapon after he was found in possession of a box cutter to be used as protection at 32-09 36th Ave. • A 59-year-old Hispanic male was observed at Broadway and 31st Street drinking alcohol in public and on further investigation was found to be wanted on an active warrant. He was charged with having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public. • A 17-year-old Hispanic female and two Hispanic males 16 and 23 years old were charged with criminal possession of a weapon, possession of burglars' tools and criminal trespass after they were found at 30-51 36th St. in possession of a backpack containing a bolt cutter and a gravity knife. • Four Hispanic males 25, 27, 30 and 35 years old were observed drinking beer in public at 36th Avenue and 29th Street and were charged with having open containers of an alcoholic beverage in public. The 30- year-old male was also found to be wanted on an active warrant. Saturday, July 7: • A 26-year-old Hispanic male attempted to throw a dog at a victim, who he also threatened with a knife, a baseball bat and a gun. He was charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, menacing, criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny and menacing. The incident occurred at 40-11 25th Ave. • An 18-year-old white male observed drinking vodka in public inside a closed park at 34-00 Vernon Blvd. was also found in possession of marijuana. He was charged with criminal trespass, criminal possession of marijuana and having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public. • Two 17-year-old white males and a 21- year-old Hispanic male were observed running a red light. When they were stopped at Astoria Park South and 21st St., they were found in possession of fireworks and a hammer and knife. They were charged with criminal possession of weapons, unlawfully dealing with fireworks and traffic device violation. • A 27-year-old black male was observed operating a vehicle with defective brake lights. When he was stopped at 21-14 31st St., he was found to have a suspended license. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, suspended registration, uninsured vehicle and inadequate/no stop lamps. • A black and a while male, both 17 years old, were charged with criminal possession of marijuana after they were found in possession of marijuana at Astoria Boulevard and 36th Street. • A 19-year-old white female was observed driving a vehicle without wearing a seatbelt. When she was stopped at 33-43 Crescent St., she was also found in possession of a controlled substance. She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and driving without a front seatbelt. • Two white males 17 and 18 years old were observed smoking marijuana in public at 30-27 36th St. and were charged with criminal possession of marijuana. • A 46-year-old white male was observed driving recklessly, almost striking a pedestrian and a vehicle. When he was stopped at Astoria Boulevard and 36th Street, he was observed slumped over the steering wheel and exhibited signs of drug use. Narcotics were found in his possession. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, reckless endangerment and DWI. • A 24-year-old Hispanic male observed recklessly operating a motorcycle without a license at 30-34 33 St. was charged with reckless endangerment, having an unregistered motorcycle and unlicensed operator. • At 34-20 35th St., a 19-year-old Asian male pushed an officer upon being questioned and used a false ID when asked for pedigree information. He was charged with obstructing governmental administration, false personation and disorderly conduct. Sunday, July 8: • Two Hispanic males 17 and 22 years old were observed in a drug deal with marijuana in public at 21st Street and 34th Avenue and were charged with criminal possession of marijuana and criminal sale of marijuana. • A 26-year-old white male was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny after he was observed stealing merchandise from 50-10 Northern Blvd. • Two white males 19 and 24 years old were charged with criminal possession of marijuana after they were found in possession of marijuana at 23rd Avenue and 42nd Street. • Two Hispanic males 38 and 40 years old were charged with criminal possession of a weapon and disorderly conduct after they obstructed vehicular traffic at Astoria Park South and Shore Boulevard and were found in possession of brass knuckles and narcotics. Monday, July 9: • A 39-year-old white male was observed running a red light without wearing a seatbelt. When he was stopped at 24-59 47th St., he was found to have a suspended license. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, unlicensed operator, traffic device violation and driving without a front seatbelt. • A 51-year-old black female was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny after she was observed stealing merchandise from 50-10 Northern Blvd. Tuesday, July 10: • A 21-year-old Hispanic male was charged with aggravated harassment after he threatened to punch a victim. The threat was made from a telephone at Northern Boulevard and 50th Street. • A 31-year-old black male was charged with grand larceny after he was observed stealing a large amount of merchandise from 50-10 Northern Blvd. • A 19-year-old Hispanic male was charged with criminal trespass after he was found on property at 46-11 31st Ave. without permission. |
