Corrects And Clarifies
To The Editor:

I would like to note that the article written by Thomas Cogan titled "Board 3 Rejects Traffic Plan, Approves Three Restaurants" [Gazette, July 4, 2007] has my name incorrectly spelled. My name is Marta Lebreton and I am a member of Community Board 3 since 2004.

Our community is very diverse and has undergone much change over the years. I believe that businesses should come into the community, but these businesses need to look at its neighbors and other businesses that are already there to see, really see what the community is lacking. I am not, and I repeat, not, against businesses specifically those that are eating establishments, but I do draw the line at an eating establishment that applies for a liquor license in an area or block that has more than a few already. understand that we cannot stop progress, but 10 eating establishments that all serve alcohol in a 1- or 2-block radius is not logical.
