Treaty Is Sellout
To The Editor:

Again, our Senate seems poised to consider the Law of the Sea Treaty, which would give the criminally dominated United Nations control of not only the oil and mineral wealth under the sea, but of the navigation of all ships on the sea as well.

Who is the UN that it should be given such a bonanza of wealth and power and what authority has our Senate to grant such a prize?

High officials in our government, who have sworn to uphold our Constitution and defend our national sovereignty, have supported treaties that would give the UN control over our children, our families, our laws and our courts.

We have been sold out by the politicians who support open borders, the war in Iraq, outsourced industry, and more. Giving unprecedented wealth and power to the UN pirates on the East River by passing the Law of the Sea Treaty would be just another betrayal of our national sovereignty. Those politicians who support the "New World Order" are seeking to establish a total world government by increasing the power and authority of the United Nations.

It is time to get out of the UN and restore our republic! Yours sincerely, Lawrence Burke Roslyn, New York
