Starbucks Offers Lunch At Stores Across U.S. snack items focused on fresh, wholesome ingredients. The new offerings include two lunch salads available nationwide and several other regional selections available at all company operated stores across the United States. These delectable dishes will awaken Starbucks' customers' taste buds and leave them glad they picked up lunch with their lattes. The lunches available at Starbucks stores throughout the country are Tomato Mozzarella Insalata and Fiesta Salad. Regional specialties include White Chicken Curry with Couscous, Asian Sesame Noodle Salad and Garden Tuna Salad Wrap. Starbucks also offers two dessert parfaits, Strawberry Banana Yogurt Parfait and Peachy Raspberry Yogurt Parfait. Tomato Mozzarella Insalata and Fiesta Salad, both $5.25, became available nationwide on June 26. Tomato Mozzarella Insalata brings a taste of classic Italian freshness to every Starbucks neighborhood coffee shop, combining tiny pearls of fresh mozzarella with grape tomatoes, basil with imported extra virgin olive oil, garlic and seasonings. It goes best with Starbucks® Terraza Blend Iced Coffee. Only the freshest ingredients make up Fiesta Salad, mouth-watering fire-roasted corn and black bean salad topped with savory grilled chicken. Salsa, smoked sweet paprika, olive oil, cilantro and cumin add southwestern flavor, while avocado and/or fresh lime provide the finishing touch. Fiesta Salad pairs best with Starbucks® Café Americano Strawberry Banana Yogurt and Peachy Raspberry Yogurt Parfaits ($3.45 each) also are offered in Starbucks stores around the country beginning June 26. Strawberry Banana Yogurt Parfait mixes strawberries and fresh bananas with lowfat yogurt and tops the concoction with crunchy granola for a revitalizing snack. It's the perfect accompaniment to morning coffee or as a favorite afternoon Starbucks treat any time of day. Peachy Raspberry Yogurt Parfait tops diced peaches and raspberry puree with low-fat yogurt and crunchy granola for a delightful and delicious way to brighten up everyone's day. Asian Sesame Noodle Salad ($4.95), thin noodles with toasted sesame ginger dressing, shredded broccoli hearts, carrots, cabbage and cucumber topped with pickled ginger appeared in Starbucks stores in the New York metropolitan area, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., South Florida and Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon on June 26. It goes best with iced Terraza Blend. White Chicken Curry with Couscous ($5.50), melds poached white chicken in a Thai style curry dressing with mango, coconut, diced pineapple, cilantro, sweet bell peppers and granny smith apples on a bed of couscous and finished with a fresh wedge of lime. The best accompaniment is Tazo® Shaken Passion Orange Iced Tea. Garden Tuna Salad Wrap ($5.75) folds Albacore tuna salad made with celery, pickle, mayonnaise and carrot for crunch is flded in lettuce inside a mild roasted red pepper tortilla. |
