The 2007 Flag Day ceremonies, held on Forest Hills Gardens' Flagpole Green on Saturday, June 16, in the article "Flag Day Ceremonies Hail 'Old Glory'" on page 1 of the Queens Gazette (Zone 2 edition) of June 21, were officially opened by Bruce Eaton, Forest Hills Gardens Corporation Board of Directors president. Elizabeth Murphy was co-chair of the Flag Day event.
