P.S. 85 Celebrates 100 Years

An event celebrating the 100 years that P.S. 85, the Judge Charles J. Vallone School has been educating the children of the Astoria community will be held on Friday, June 15 at Astoria World Manor, 25-22 Astoria Blvd. from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. To confirm attendance at the event, e-mail hundredyears85@aol.com.

Judge Charles J. Vallone was the father of former City Council Speaker Peter F. Vallone Sr. and the grandfather of present Councilmember Peter F. Vallone Jr.
