Sears Honored At EHC 50th Anniversary Gala

City Councilmember Leroy Comrie presented a City Council Proclamation to Councilmember Helen Sears at the celebration of Elmhurst Hospital Center's 50th anniversary at Terrace on the Park on Thursday, April 12. Sears was a guest of honor at the event for the vital role she has played at Elmhurst Hospital Center and in the community. She was instrumental in securing funding to purchase the latest technology and expand the hospital's emergency department. Funds she provided also enabled the hospital to build a new building where cancer prevention, early detection and treatment will be offered.
