114th Precinct Blotter Highlights Sunday, April 15: + A 29-year-old Hispanic male was charged with criminal mischief, assault and harassment after he punched a victim in the face and broke the victim's property at Ditmars Boulevard and 28th Street. + A 52-year-old white male was observed selling alcohol to patrons after 4 a.m. at 28-26 Steinway St. He was charged with running an unlicensed bottle club, unlicensed warehouse liquor storage, after hours sale of alcoholic beverages and criminal nuisance. + A 21-year-old Hispanic male was charged with assault and disorderly conduct after he punched a victim in the face at 32nd Street and 38th Avenue. + A 50-year-old white male was charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon after he threatened a victim with a folding knife at 28- 21 45th St. + A 54-year-old Asian male was charged with assault and harassment at the 114th Precinct station house, 34-16 Astoria Blvd., after he punched a female victim in the face and pulled her hair. + Two white males, both 26 years old, were charged with criminal possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana after they were observed with marijuana in public at Hoyt Avenue North and 19th Street. + A 19-year-old white male was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny after he was observed stealing property from 32-50 Vernon Blvd. + Three Hispanic males 30, 40 and 41 years old were charged with having open containers of alcoholic beverages in public after they were observed drinking beer in public and had no identification. The 30-year-old was arrested at 37th Street and 28th Avenue, the 40-year-old at 30-04 36th Ave. and the 41-year-old at Steinway Street and Broadway. + A 39-year-old black female was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after she was found in possession of a controlled substance at 38th Avenue and 10th Street. + A 23-year-old white female was arrested at the 114th Precinct station house, 34-16 Astoria Blvd., and charged with assault and harassment after she pulled a victim's hair and kicked the victim about the body. Saturday, April 14: + A 22-year-old white male was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public after he was observed with a beer in public and was also found in possession of cocaine at 23-45 31st Ave. + Two 19-year-old white males were charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, criminal trespass, harassment and disorderly conduct after they refused to leave 34th Avenue and 28th Street upon request and began fighting in public. + A 36-year-old Hispanic male was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct after he was observed obstructing vehicular traffic at Vernon Boulevard and 33rd Road and was found in possession of a crack pipe. + A 27-year-old Hispanic male was charged with resisting arrest and having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public after he was observed with an open beer in public at Hobart Street and 31st Avenue and was unable to produce identification. + A 28-year-old Hispanic male was charged with violation of a local law after he was observed riding a bicycle on the sidewalk at Broadway and 31st Street. + A 34-year-old Hispanic male was observed at Steinway Street and 30th Avenue selling food without a vendor's license and was charged with violation of a local law. + A 29-year-old Hispanic male was charged with bail jumping, disorderly conduct and having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public after he was observed drinking beer in public at Astoria Boulevard and 31st Street and was found to be wanted on a warrant. + A 36-year-old Hispanic male was charged with violation of a local law after he was observed selling food without a vendor's license at 31st Avenue and Steinway Street. + A 47-year-old Asian female was charged with possession of a forged instrument, trademark counterfeiting and violation of a local law after she was observed selling counterfeit DVDs without a vending license at Vernon Boulevard and Broadway. + A 30-year-old Hispanic male was observed drinking beer in public at 44- 12 Broadway and did not have any identification. He was charged with having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public. + A 43-year-old Hispanic male was charged with resisting arrest and having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public after he was observed drinking beer in public at 36-01 Broadway and did not have identification. + A 36-year-old Hispanic male was charged with violation of a local law and harassment after he removed belongings from inside to the outside of 33-10 Broadway without permission. + A 41-year-old Hispanic male was charged with assault and harassment after he struck a victim in the face with a broomstick at 33-10 Broadway. + A 16-year-old white male was charged with criminal mischief, making graffiti and possession of a graffiti instrument after he put graffiti on walls at 29-29 Ditmars Blvd. |
