TMLA Is Class A Basketball Champ

The Mary Louis Academy Hilltoppers basketball team defeated John F. Kennedy H.S. (The Bronx) in the PSAL League 51-44 held in the Glen Falls Civic Arena in Glen Falls, New York on March 24.

Fifty TMLA supporters made the trip by bus including faculty, students, parents and administrators. Kelly Puwalski (9 points) and Amanda Burkowski (15 points) qualified for the All-Federation Team. Casey Shevlin was the game Most Valuable Player with 17 points. Kelly Carman received the Sportmanship Award for the game.

TMLA reached the finals by defeating St. Peter's (Staten Island) 74-65 in the NYS CHSAA Class A Championship on March 18 at Cardinal Spellman H.S. in The Bronx.
