Warming Is Natural
To The Editor:

So what's the story about global warming? Yes, the UN released a 21-page "Summary for Policymakers", alleging that human activity is very likely the cause of global warming. However, they neglected to inform us that most of this report was compiled by bureaucrats who find nothing wrong with citing scientists who actually hold contrary views regarding the cause of global warming.

Please note that English climatologist Duncan Wingham has conclusively debunked the mantra that Antarctica's entire ice shelf is melting.

And Denmark's space scientist Henrik Svensmark has shown that changes in the sun's magnetic field is the real reason for our current warming, not mankind's burning of fossil fuels.

Additionally, the British Channel 4 recently aired an explosive exposé, "The Great Global Warming Swindle".

How is it that our highly investigative media didn't tell us about this? Thankfully, it is available on the Internet.

American atmospheric scientists Dr. S. Fred Singer of George Mason University, Dr.Patrick Michaels of the University of Virginia and Dr. Richard Lindzen of MIT are only some of the scientists, not bureaucrats, who affirm there is no evidence that humans are responsible for the small amount of warming. No less, Singer and Dennis have recently published a thoroughly documented book entitled Unstoppable Global Warming. The title reflects the fact that our planet has always had cycles of cooling and warming. This has been verified by deep bore drilling of the ice caps.

Please read this book and download the British documentary. Become informed and tell our Congress not to hamstring our economy with needless UN Kyoto accords. Kyoto has some great sounding objectives, especially about America's enormous hydrocarbon outputs, yet they fail to tell us that none of their draconian measures will be implemented upon India or Red China or any of the other nations that are currently belching out millions of tons of pollutants. Information like this and much more is always available at www.thenewamerican. com.

Let's just think about this: what caused the last ice age to melt away? Maybe in trying to keep warm the cavemen started too many fires? And Henry [Ford] didn't start banging out Model Ts until the 1900s. No, more likely it was all part of a universal cycle and definitely not human activity! A Concerned Citizen, Frank S.
