First Central Savings Bank opened its eighth branch in Queens last Saturday, March 17. Carlos Vásquez is branch manager.

First Central Savings Bank opened its main branch in Whitestone on April 5, 1999, and has opened new branches on an almost annual basis ever since. From its first office, First Central Savings Bank has grown into a vibrant, thriving community bank with the goal of filling a void in the big bank mentality by providing good, oldfashioned, personal service with a smile, fulfilling a tradition of hospitality and good manners which Founder, President and Board Chairman Joseph Pistilli has said he found sorely lacking in the modern banking industry. At every First Central branch, executive officers are always on the banking floor to handle customers' questions or concerns, and customers can call the bank and speak directly to the president at any time. The bank has a dedicated Board of Directors made up of local business people from the community who understand that good, quick, reliable, personal service is what First Central Savings Bank customers need- and deserve.

As is the case with all First Central Savings Bank grand openings this one will include refreshments and free gifts as well as raffles and fun happenings for all ages.

The First Central Savings Bank Sunnyside branch is located at 45-08 46th St., Sunnyside; call 718-706-2451.
