MALONEY WEB SITE WINS AWARD:

A Gold M o u s e Award, the top prize f o r Congressional Web sites has been presented to Congressmember Carolyn Maloney (D- Queens/Manhattan). The award is an outgrowth of a research project which studied how members of Congress can use the Internet to improve communications with their constituents and promote greater participation in the legislative/process. "My goal is to make my office's Web site as informative and useful to my constituents as possible," Maloney said upon receiving the award. "I have a very active office and I try to make sure that material about my work and Congress is just a few clicks away."
