Gianaris, UCCA Schedule Town Hall Meeting

The annual town hall meeting sponsored by the United Community Civic Association, Assemblymember Michael Gianaris and the Gazette will be held Thursday, February 1 in the Riklis Theater of the Museum of the Moving Image, 36-01 35th Ave. between 36th and 37th Streets. The meeting, a tradition for some years now, will start at 7 p.m. and end at 10 p.m.

Agencies whose representatives will be present include the Police and Fire Departments, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the New York City Housing Authority and the city Taxi and Limousine Commission. Also scheduled to have a spokesperson present are the city Departments For the Aging, Buildings, Finance, Sanitation, Education, Transportation, Consumer Affairs, Parks and Recreation and Health And Mental Hygiene and the state Department of Labor.

Everyone interested in what is taking place in their community should attend. Admission is free and refreshments, provided by Brooklyn Bagels, will be served.
