Police Precinct Blotter 108th Precinct Four teens choked, stabbed, slashed and rammed their vehicle into an alleged graffiti vandal on January 5, but the victim "refused to die", authorities said. Cops said Ali Kahn, 19, his cousin Aamer Kahn, 18, Joseph Piazza, 17, and Christian Diaz, 17, allegedly spotted Anthony Albaricci, 24, spraying graffiti on a concrete window sill outside Aamer Kahn's apartment building at 44th Street and Laurel Hill Boulevard in West Maspeth on January 5. Police sources said Albaricci "tagged" the windowsill in retribution over money he was owed by Aamer Kahn. Shortly after he wrote the graffiti, the teens lured Albaricci into their Ford Explorer "for a ride", where they attacked him, police said. "They did everything they could think of," police sources said. "They choked him with a belt, stabbed him repeatedly in the stomach with a butcher knife, slashed his face and hands with a razor, and tried to fire a 32-caliber pistol at him at point blank range several times, but the gun kept jamming," the sources said. "But Mr. Albaricci refused to die." Albaricci thought he had escaped when the vehicle crashed, but quickly realized the teens were chasing him, police sources said. Albaricci told police the teens jumped from the Explorer and beat him with a chair, then got back into the vehicle and rammed it into him, twice, the sources said. The attack was halted by a police officer who arrived at the scene during routine patrol. Albaricci was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where more than 100 stitches were required to close his wounds. The teens were charged with attempted murder, assault and weapons possession.
