      When Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion dropped out of the 2009 mayoral race last week and switched his goal to city comptroller, he gave himself an easier task but created a tougher election race for two other comptroller hopefuls, Councilmembers David Weprin and Melinda Katz, both from Queens.
