Adams Defeats Wadleigh, Is PSAL Cup Division Champ
      With warm sun making a 30 degree-plus beautiful, chilly Sunday bearable, the Harlem Hellcats from Harlem's Wadleigh H.S. waited on Brooklyn's Midwood H.S. Field for John Adams H.S. to make the trip from Jamaica for the boys varsity football PSAL Cup Division Championship match. A transportation problem delayed Adams and pushed the start time back by more than two hours.

Three Queens Student Athletes Earn PSAL Awards
      PSAL Executive Director Donald Douglas, joined by Alan Blank, PSAL Director of Player Eligibility, announced different categories of PSAL Boy Varsity season leaders. The season leaders announcement took place during halftime of the Cup Division Championship game between John Adams H.S. (Queens) and Wadleigh High School (Manhattan).

Red Storm Defeats Fairleigh Dickinson, 92-67
      St. John's University faced off with Fairleigh Dickinson at Carnesecca Arena for their third non-league game to remain undefeated (3-0) after a 92-67 win. Senior captain Eugene Lawrence led the Red Storm, with 20 points and 9 rebounds, which fields a seven-man freshman class to help round out a strong 2007-08 Big East squad of returning varsity players.

York Men's Basketball Falls To RIT In Home Opener
      The York College Men's Basketball team fell to Rochester Institute of Technology, 83-63, in their home opener on Tuesday evening, November 20. Despite the loss, Michael Salamanca scored a game-high 16 points and dished out four assists for York.

York Lady Cardinals Fall To Merchant Marine Academy
      The York College Women's Basketball team fell to the United States Merchant Marine Academy, 84-63, in their home opener on Tuesday evening, November 20. Freshman Maimouna Dabo led all scorers with 22 points for York. The Lady Cardinals played well early on, jumping out to a 7-4 lead on a jumper by Shayna Smith.
