114th Police Precinct Blotter Highlights:
A black man 24 years old, as yet unidentified by police, was stabbed several times in the torso at about 3 a.m. in front of 34-50 Steinway St. last Wednesday, June 20. Police said the victim was stabbed during a dispute with an unidentified suspect, who fled the scene. The victim was transported to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. No one has been arrested and the investigation is ongoing.
Also on June 20:
+ A 74-year-old white female was charged with assault and harassment after she punched a victim in the face at 25-89 42nd St.
+ A 46-year-old Asian male was charged with grand larceny after he stole a victim's ring at 32- 05 Broadway.
+ A 17-year-old black male was arrested and charged with criminal contempt at the 114th Precinct station house, 34-16 Astoria Blvd., after he entered and remained in a victim's apartment without permission and in violation of a valid order of protection.
+ A 28-year-old Hispanic male was charged with criminal possession of marijuana after he was observed smoking marijuana and found in possession of more marijuana at 475 Main St., Roosevelt Island.
Tuesday, June 19:
+ A 21-year-old black male was charged with having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in public after he was observed drinking beer in public at 32-50 Steinway St. On further investigation, he was also found to be wanted on an active warrant.
+ A 32-year-old white male was charged with criminal contempt at the 114th Precinct station house, 34-16 Astoria Blvd., after he violated a valid order of protection by contacting a victim via e-mail.
+ A 25-year-old white male and three white females 20, 21 and 22 years old were charged with assault and criminal trespass after they refused to leave 30-09 Broadway and punched and kicked a victim multiple times.
+ A 39-year-old black male was charged with robbery after he forcibly removed a victim's money at 40-11 12th St.
+ A 24-year-old black male was acting loud and disorderly in public, causing a crowd to gather at 23-10 30th Ave. On further investigation, he was found to be wanted on an active warrant and was charged with bail jumping and disorderly conduct.
Monday, June 18:
+ At 31-17 12th St. an 18-year-old white male yelled profanities at a victim, violating a valid order of protection. He was charged with criminal contempt and harassment.
+ A 22-year-old Hispanic male was charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property after he forcibly removed a gold necklace from a victim's neck at Newtown Road and 44th Street and fled.
