Assemblymember and P.S. 84 graduate Michael Gianaris (D-Astoria), together with the Power Authority of New York, secured funds that allow P.S. 84 students a unique learning opportunity - an outdoor literacy garden and classroom. The garden provides students with a beautiful place to learn outside the walls of a traditional classroom. The P.S. 84 literacy garden is part of the Assemblymember's "Revitalize Astoria campaign".
