The authentic, one and only, absolutely real Santa Claus made a special and very exclusive visit to First Central Savings Bank’s Astoria branch at 35-01 30th Ave., Astoria on Saturday, December 16, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to pose for pictures and determine which children had been naughty or nice to the delight of the bank’s customers, staff and children of all ages. First Central Savings Bank officials proudly announced that their visitor was Santa Claus and urged the public not to be deceived by claims of visits by interlopers.
Since 1999, First Central Savings Bank has grown into a vibrant, thriving community bank. From the first, the bank’s goal was and still is to fill a void in the big bank mentality, by providing good, old-fashioned personal service with a smile reminiscent of the hospitality and good manners which once prevailed in society, but which almost does not exist in banking today.
At First Central Savings Bank executive officers are always on the banking floor to handle customers’ questions or concerns. Customers can call the bank and speak directly to President Joseph Pistilli at any time. The bank also has a dedicated board of directors made up of local businesspeople who understand what the community needs—good, quick, reliable, personal service.
