Maria Fierro Is Commerce Bank Jax Heights Manager

Maria Fierro has been named manager of the Commerce Bank branch now under construction at 94-15 Northern Blvd., Jackson Heights.

Commerce Bank (NYSE: CBH), “America’s Most Convenient Bank”, has named Maria Fierro manager of its newest Queens location currently under construction at 94-15 Northern Blvd., Jackson Heights. Fierro will be responsible for new business development, consumer lending, and managing personnel and day-to-day operations at the Jackson Heights location.

Fierro joins Commerce with nearly 15 years of banking experience. She was most recently a relationship manager for Chase. A resident of Queens, Fierro is a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Queens Colombia Lions Club, Center for Economic Development for Corona, Elmhurst and Jackson Heights and the NYANA Business Center.

A Commerce branch generally requires a staff of 20 full- and part-time employees, plus lending executives and operations personnel. As it expands, Commerce Bank will continue to provide jobs for local residents throughout the bank's footprint. Commerce Bank currently has 12 convenient locations throughout Queens.
