Chamber Of Commerce Offers Guide To Queens
City Councilmember Peter F. Vallone Jr. announced the release of "Queens Chamber of Commerce Your Guide To the Borough", a quick reference manual produced by the Queens Chamber of Commerce (QCC). The booklet, produced with a grant from the City Council, gives hundreds of recommendations about exciting restaurants, shops and other places and businesses in every neighborhood in Queens.
The guide allows readers to view destinations in the most diverse community on earth, ranging from the Greek eateries in Astoria to the Museum for African Art in Sunnyside. The QCC hopes the informative booklet will boost interest in the borough and draw more visitors to Queens and its vast, diverse business community.
"This brochure puts information about the best of what Queens has to offer in the palm of your hands," William Egan, QCC executive vice president, said in a letter to Vallone.
Copies of the booklet are available at Vallone's district office, 22- 45 31st St., Astoria, 718-274-4500, or by calling the Queens Chamber of Commerce at 718-898-8500.
