Santa Claus, decorated by the 2 East Nursing Station, received top honors from judges at Queens Boulevard Extended Care Facility.
Residents, staff, families and volunteers at Queens Boulevard Extended Care Facility enjoyed a fun-filled celebration during Halloween Week. Special events included a pumpkin decorating contest in which many departments in the facility participated. On Halloween day, the costume dress-up-or-dressdown event and the costume parade brought smiles and laughter to residents and staff.
The week's activities brought joy to the 280 residents at Queens Boulevard Extended Care Facility, located at 61-11 Queens Blvd. in Woodside. The facility is a short-term rehab and long-term care facility and adult day care center. The facility welcomes groups and individuals who are interested in volunteering or visiting.
