FIAO 17th Annual 5K Run
The Federation of Italian American Organizations of Queens, Inc. (FIAO) held its 17th annual 5K Run to Help Fight Drug Abuse. Some 150 participants and 20 "Kids Fun Runners" raced through the streets of Astoria this past summer. The race was made possible with funding from City Councilmember Peter Vallone Jr. Featured here are: "Kid Fun Runners" ages 3 to 9 with FIAO President Joseph DiPietro.
