Two Come To Block-Long Blows Over Drugs On Friday, October 20, in an incident that ranged along Steinway Street from 34th Ave to Broadway, a 26-year-old Hispanic male was charged with assault, criminal possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana after a 32-year-old Hispanic male stated the perpetrator had punched the him in the face and was hiding drugs in a vehicle. The 32- year-old Hispanic male was charged with assault after he punched the 26-year-old Hispanic male in the face. 114th Police Precinct Blotter Tuesday, October 17: + A 16-year-old black male was observed failing to stop at a stop sign. He was stopped at 31-01 51 St. and was found to have a suspended license. He was charged with failure to obey a traffic device and aggravated unlicensed operator. + A 35-year-old white male was observed failing to stop at a stop sign and was not wearing a seatbelt. He was stopped at 39-13 23rd St. and was found to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was charged with DWI, failure to obey a traffic device and driving without a seatbelt. + A 32-year-old Asian male was observed using a cellphone while driving. When he was stopped at 36th Avenue and 29th Street, he was found to have a suspended license. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operator and driving while using a cellphone. + A 48-year-old black male was charged with assault and harassment after a victim alleged he punched her in the face and slammed her head into a brick wall at 31-31 54th St. + A 42-year-old black male was observed operating a vehicle with no tail lights. When he was stopped at 35-17 31st St., he was found to have a suspended license. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, no or insufficient tail lights and unlicensed operator. Wednesday, October 18: + A 12-year-old black male was charged with assault and harassment after a victim claimed the perpetrator punched him in the face. The incident occurred at I.S. 126, 31-51 21st St. + A black and a Hispanic male, both 18 years old, were charged with criminal sale of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana when they were found to be in possession of and smoking marijuana at 31-05 49th St. + A 21-year-old Hispanic man was observed attempting to steal merchandise from 50-01 Northern Blvd. He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny. + A 15-year-old Hispanic male admitted to making graffiti at 31-21 21st St. with a marker. He was charged with criminal mischief, making graffiti and possession of a graffiti instrument. + At I.S. 126, 31-51 21st St., a 15-yearold Hispanic male admitted to making graffiti on the roof of the school and being on the roof without permission. He was charged with criminal mischief, making graffiti and criminal trespass. + A 14-year-old black male was observed with marijuana. He fled and was captured at 31st Avenue and 48th Street and was charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, criminal possession of marijuana and criminal sale of marijuana. + A 29-year-old black woman was observed entering 31-04 Ditmars Blvd. with a fraudulent check which she attempted to cash. She was charged with possession of a forged instrument. + A victim stated a 17-year-old Asian male struck him with a stick and punched and kicked him. The incident occurred at 29th Street and 41st Avenue. The perpetrator was charged with assault. + A 17-year-old white male was involved in a car accident at Crescent Street and 39th Avenue and was found to have a suspended license. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operator. + A 35-year-old Hispanic male was observed selling drugs at 35th Avenue and 35th Street and was in possession of cocaine and marijuana. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal sale of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. + A 26-year-old black male was found in possession of marijuana at 35th Avenue and 36th Street. He was charged with criminal possession of marijuana. Thursday, October 19: + A traffic agent issued a parking summons to a 55-year-old white male at 31-56 Steinway St. The perpetrator then pulled on the agent's shirt and spat in her face. He was charged with obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct. + A 14-year-old Hispanic male wrote on school property at I.S. 126, 31-51 21st St., with a permanent marker without permission. He was charged with criminal mischief, making graffiti and criminal trespass. + A 33-year-old Asian man violated a valid order of protection by being in a victim's home at 32-23 42nd St. He was charged with criminal contempt. + A 41-year-old black male was charged with robbery after a victim stated the perpetrator displayed a handgun and removed the victim's property. The incident took place at 20-32 19th St. Friday October 20: + A victim stated that a 35-year-old Hispanic man pushed her and scratched her at 34-12 29th St. The perpetrator was charged with assault and harassment. + A 19-year-old white male interfered with officers issuing a summons to another person at Broadway and 33rd Street and yelled at a victim. He was charged with obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct. + While another perpetrator held a gun to a victim's head at 20-32 19th St., a 38- year-old black male removed a victim's property. He was charged with robbery. + At Long Island City H.S., 14-30 Broadway, a 17-year-old Hispanic male was charged with robbery after a victim stated he had forcibly grabbed her cellphone from her waistband. + A 29-year-old black male was stopped at 21st Street and 41st Avenue and found to be operating a vehicle with a forged temporary license. He was charged with forgery and possession of a forged instrument. Saturday, October 21: + Two Asian men, ages 31 and 42, each agreed to pay $40 for intercourse. Two black men, ages 28 and 39, offered to pay $20 and $50, respectively, and a 26-yearold Hispanic man offered to pay $50 for intercourse. All were charged with patronizing a prostitute. The incidents took place at 40-19 23rd St. + At 42nd Street and Broadway, a 29- year-old Hispanic man threw a metal garbage can at a victim's vehicle, causing damage. The perpetrator was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. + A 39-year-old black male was observed operating a vehicle while using a cellphone. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of marijuana. + A 26-year-old white male was observed stealing merchandise from 50- 01 Northern Blvd. and was found in possession of a knife. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property. + A 28-year-old Hispanic woman was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon after a victim stated the perpetrator struck the victim with a shoe. The incident took place at 32-02 24th Ave. + A 25-year-old white man was observed striking a victim and pushing her downstairs at 30-71 34th St. He was charged with assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. |
