Glenridge Senior Center Gets Hunger Award
Glenridge Senior Citizen Multi-Service &Advisory Center staff members (l. to r.) Jean Eyring, Alice Pratts, Helen Allen and Executive Director Susan Simonetti were presented with the 2006 Agency Relations for Queens award at the annual conference of Food Bank For New York recently. During the past year, the center has served more than 10,000 dinners to the community and provided supplemental groceries for 11,500 community residents. "Donna's Place", the center's food pantry, operates twice a week and offers Everybody At the Table Together (E.A.T.T.), a free dinner program, to the community on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The Glenridge Senior Citizen Multi- Service & Advisory Center is located at 59-03 Summerfield St, Ridgewood.
