Hails Maloney, Gazette
To The Editor:

I applaud Ms. [Carolyn] Maloney, our Congressional Representative for her dedication, tireless advocacy and caring for the health of our first responders, who were our first army of defense, rescuers, and brave heroes to arrive at the Ground Zero war on terror. Her efforts are especially appreciated in light of the findings of the Mt. Sinai Hospital study showing that so many hundreds of first responders and other rescue workers who gave of themselves at Ground Zero were stricken with illness that will affect their life, financial status and emotional [well] being.

I applaud the Gazette for pointing out Ms. Maloney's devotion. Both the Gazette and Ms. Maloney are people oriented and care for us, and present positive news to enhance the life of the community.
