Man Makes Real Terrorist Threats With Fake Gun A 26-year-old man of Middle Eastern descent was observed pointing a machine gun, which later proved to be a replica, at an establishment at Queens Plaza North and Crescent Street on Wednesday, August 9. The weapon had "snaps" in it, causing it to make realistic noises of a gun being fired. He also resisted arrest. He was charged with making terroristic threats, menacing, resisting arrest, harassment, violation of a local law and disorderly conduct. Also on August 9, a 28-year-old black woman and a 16-year-old black male were seen stealing merchandise from two local stores: the woman from a store at 33-01 30th Ave. and the male from a store at 5010 Northern Blvd. The woman was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny; the youth with possession of stolen property and petit larceny. 114th Police Precinct Blotter Saturday, August 12: A 41-year-old Hispanic woman involved in an accident at Ditmars Boulevard and 43rd Street exhibited signs of intoxication. She was charged with DWI and unlicensed operator. A 21-year-old black man, along with three other unapprehended perpetrators, forcibly removed money from a victim at 27-63 27th St. He was charged with robbery and criminal possession of stolen property. A22-year-old black man was observed stealing merchandise from 36-01 Broadway. In an effort to flee, he broke a window and two anti-theft detectors. He was charged with criminal mischief, criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny. A 19-year-old Asian male and four white males, two 18, one 19 and two 22 years old were in possession of marijuana in public view at 21st Street and 23rd Avenue. They were charged with criminal possession of marijuana. Tuesday, August 14: At 30-12 44th St. a 37-year-old white woman cut a victim with a knife twice. She was charged with assault and harassment. A 38-year-old Hispanic man was arrested at the 114th Precinct station house at 34-16 Astoria Blvd. and charged with assault and harassment after a female victim stated the perpetrator grabbed her and hit her in the chest. A 33-year-old Hispanic man was arrested and charged with robbery and criminal possession of stolen property after a female victim charged he punched her in the face at 31st Avenue and 44th Street in order to steal her purse. A 34-year-old Hispanic man was observed driving without wearing his seatbelt. When he was stopped at 51st Street and Northern Boulevard, his license was found to be suspended. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operator and driving without a seatbelt. |
