'The Mysterious Miss Squito'
At the New York Hall of Science through August 27

Learn about insects and join in the search for clues at The New York Hall of Science's exciting new Science Theater presentation "The Mysterious Miss Squito." This mixed-media theater presentation, one of the Hall's Bugged Out Science themed events, takes place at 2 and 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Mysterious Miss Squito tells the story of hard-edged detective L.D. Bugg searching the muddled marsh for the killer of Honey Bee. The prime suspect is mysterious vamp, Miss Squito, but did she really bring harm to her insect friend?

The Hall's Science Theater produces five theater pieces, and regularly presents puppet shows, based on science. The Hall uses these forms of theatre to provide alternating viewpoints about educational concepts, incite imagination and inquiry, and humanize broad concepts.

Science Theater presentations are free with paid admission, $11 for adults and $8 for children (ages 2-17), college students with valid ID, and seniors (62 plus). For more information about "The Mysterious Miss Squito" or other Bugged Out Science events, visit or call the Hall's public relations office at 718.699.0005, ext. 342.
