Gennaro Sponsors Green Queens Essay Contest
City Councilmember James Gennaro (DFresh Meadows) and Brad Feldman of Northern Appliance presented awards to the winners of the first annual "Our Green Queens" Essay Contest winners. The contest, sponsored by Gennaro and Northern Appliance, asked students in the public middle schools in Gennaro's district: "What do you think is the one best action that people in our community can take to protect our environment?"
