30 Years Celebrated At Haym Salomon Square In KGH
It was a proud day when former Queens County Commanders Sid Auerbach and Herb Rosen, Jewish War Veterans Post 793 (JWV 793), Jan Fenster, Queens Jewish Community Council (QJCC) president, and the Queens Jewish Historical Society celebrated the 30th anniversary of Haym Salomon Square in Kew Gardens Hills, 72nd Road and Main Street. Salomon Square is one of only two sites in Queens to denote the achievements of Jewish War Veterans-Salomon is known to be a financier and American patriot who helped finance the American Revolutionary War.
