GOTBAUM ENDORSES YOUNG:
Declaring, "Flushing needs someone who is hardworking and dedicated to fight in Albany" for everyone in the district, Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum last week endorsed Ellen Young in the Democratic primary for assemblymember in the 22nd AD.

Young, former chief of staff for Councilmember John Liu, is opposed by former Flushing Assemblymember and Councilmember Julia Harrison, Grace Meng and Terrence Park.

Gotbaum joins Congressmembers Joseph Crowley and Gary Ackerman, state Senators Toby Stavisky and Malcolm Smith and Assemblymembers Jose Peralta, Nettie Mayersohn and Michael Gianaris in endorsing Young.

Borough President Helen Marshall, Liu and Councilmembers Peter Vallone Jr., Leroy Comrie, James Gennaro, David Weprin, Joseph Addabbo Jr., Diana Reyna and Thomas White are also in Young's corner.
