St. Francis of Assisi Carolers Spread Christmas Cheer

The SFA Carolers of St. Francis of Assisi School, Astoria, spread some holiday cheer to neighboring businesses on Friday, December 16. The group, consisting of the school’s 3rd through 6th graders, made their way down Ditmars Boulevard to Commerce Bank, where they sang Christmas songs for the employees and customers and then toured the bank. As they walked back to St. Francis, they stopped on corners throughout the neighborhood to entertain shoppers. Back at the school, the group decorated a newly planted Christmas tree and enjoyed hot cocoa with parents and members of the St. Francis of Assisi faculty and staff.
