Brazil Foundation Honors IBM Exec, Educator
Leona Forman, president and chief executive officer of the BrazilFoundation, and Fernando Henrigue Cardoso, former president of Brazil, at the Brazil Foundation third annual gala benefit honoring social investors in Brazil, held at Cipriani 42nd Street, Manhattan, on September 13. The BrazilFoundation sponsors initiatives that benefit Brazil and the Brazilian community. This year, Evelyn Ioschpe, president of the Iochpe Foundation and of the Arts-In-School Institute, and Stanley Litow, president of IBM International Foundation and vice president of IBM corporate community relations, were honored for their having made a major contribution to Brazil in the field of philanthropy, serving as role models of social responsibility.
