Congressmember Joseph Crowley held a luncheon roundtable for 12 journalists and members of his office staff at Delhi Palace in Jackson Heights last Friday. Crowley, whose district encompasses parts of Queens and The Bronx, noted that he represents more than 650,000 residents, more than 100,000 of them registered voters, in one of the most diverse areas in the United States.
Among the issues discussed were the economy, both global and domestic, job creation, health care, terrorism and the role of the September 11 terrorist attacks in the upcoming presidential election.
