American Eye Care Center, 38-03 Broadway, Astoria, is all decked out for the holiday season. The store’s display, one of a select few on the busy shopping street to herald the arrival of the Christmas-Chanukkah season, features Disney figures Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The two have starred in a number of seasonal productions in their own right, and American Eye Care Center optician Jay Binkowitz and optometrist Dr. Mark Stadlen chose the pair as appropriate symbols of Yuletide joy. Gift certificates, like the one taking center stage in the window, went to 84 second-place winners in the American Eye Care Center annual holiday raffle. The raffle grand prize was a stocking seven feet tall stuffed with toys.
