On May 7 the Woodside Senior Center installed its new Advisory Council, (l. to r.): Alice Cruz, Carmelo Mallia, Julia Viera, Lucy Flugger, Eugenia Pate, Marjorie Cotton, Fannie Cherry, Queens Borough President Helen Marshall, City Councilmember Eric Gioia and Director Matthew Ancona. The installation took place during the center’s springtime celebration in honor of Mother’s Day at Riccardo’s By the Bridge, Astoria.
