Everest Eurostyle Eatery Has Sandwiches, Crepes And More
Since Everest Eurostyle Eatery opened last June, its corner location has been buzzing with patrons. They come all hours of the day to enjoy fresh salads, sandwiches, wraps, pastries and European crepes that could have been made on the banks of the Seine. Now, Everest is even better due to the improvements made by its new owners, Nick Sousouris and Pete Filios.
This dynamic duo has added tempting souvlakis such as one would find in Greece, made on smaller, lightly toasted pita, topped with tender strips of marinated chicken, tomato, red onion and tzatziki sauce. These European style sandwiches, which can also be filled with tender lamb, are the perfect size for lunch or a snack. The sandwich is just $3 and for a little more, you can have a platter, with French fries and salad.
Lunchtime offers a host of options from homemade cheese pies and flaky spinach pies to a variety of crispy salads and plenty of sandwiches. Choose from among dozens of fillings, including ham, turkey, pastrami, salami, imported cheeses, chicken salad, tuna salad and more. Next, choose among hero rolls, bagels, croissants or crepes (my favorite) and lunch is made fresh on the spot. All the baking is done on the premises. Sousouris uses his grandmother’s recipes for the cheese and spinach pies which are definitely worth trying.
Eat inside Everest, with its sparkling clean sleek, modern counters and stools. Windows and doors open onto 30th Avenue, allowing for cool breezes and an airy atmosphere. Everest will also deliver to your home or office.
Wraps are made fresh on the spot. Choose favorite meats, cheeses or salads and get a freshly prepared treat in just a few minutes. There are lots of healthy salads, too, such as the Greek salad, which contains stuffed grape leaves and feta cheese.
An assortment of soft drinks, fruit drinks and fresh fruit smoothies is available around the clock, so stop in any time. You’ll also love the ice cream and shakes. Everest makes their own flaky pastries and decadent desserts, among them layered Napoleon, bougatsa, baklava, flavored with honey and nuts or fresh fruit tarts. The chocolate-dipped strawberries are almost too pretty to eat.
Everest’s delicate crepes can be made savory or sweet and can be eaten as a meal, a light snack or for dessert. We indulged in delicious chocolate banana crepes for dessert, drizzled with yet more chocolate sauce. Equally delicious are the strawberry and chocolate crepes, peach crepes, or crepes filled with fruit salad and topped with ice cream.
Everest is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Any time is a good time to try some of their tasty offerings. Starting with breakfast, enjoy a steaming cup of freshly brewed coffee, espresso or cappuccino with a flaky croissant, a hearty roll or a toasted bagel. Egg sandwiches are easily packed up to go so get one on your way during the morning rush.
At breakfast, lunch, dinner or an any time snack, stop in Everest Eurostyle Eatery for freshly made salads, sandwiches, wraps, pastries and crepes. Come in any time for a refreshing iced mochaccino, frothy frappe or even some ice cream. If you’re hungry and want something good in a hurry, Everest has what you need. Cash only, free delivery.
