Regal Heights CEO Attends Breakfast
Intercounty Health Facilities Association, an organization of 59 nursing facilities on Long Island caring for over 10,000 residents and patients, recently hosted their 16th Annual Legislative Breakfast Conference at the Uniondale and Islandia Marriott Hotels.
More than 40 members of the Senate, Assembly, United States Congress and Nassau and Suffolk legislatures joined administrators of Intercounty’s 59 member nursing homes to discuss issues and concerns of importance to Long Island’s healthcare industry. Members of the New York State Health Facilities Association presented the 2002 legislative agenda. Among the administrators in attendance was Joseph L. Bloch, administrator and chief executive officer of Regal Heights Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Jackson Heights.
