Queens Bar Association Offers Help To WTC Victims And Families Queens Bar Association The Queens County Bar Association is taking three steps to aid survivors, families of those lost and other impacted by the disaster at the World Trade Center. Seymour W. James Jr., president said, "Everyone is deeply shocked and saddened by the attack on our nation and city and the Queens Bar wants to help the survivors and the families of those who were lost." The programs are as follows: *Saturday, Sept. 29, a free clinic staffed by Queens Bar members will be in operation to provide assistance and advice from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Queens Bar Building, 90-35 148th St., north of Jamaica Avenue, in Jamaica Center. *The Bar’s Lawyers Referral Service recommends attorneys familiar with insurance, estate, benefit and other legal issues and questions being raised. The consultation fee will be waived. *The Bar will assist attorneys displaced by the attack on the World Trade Centers by helping them locate space in members’ offices, handle calendar matters and provide other aid until they can return to normal operations.
