The United States Army's Military District of Washington will present The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own," along with their Herald Trumpets and "Strolling Strings" in a free concert Saturday, October 6 at 2 p.m. in Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center.  Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, is located on Broadway, between 62nd and 65th Streets, Manhattan, N.Y.  This concert is free, but tickets are required and available at the Avery Fisher Hall Box Office (212) 875-5030, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. Join the Army Concert Band and the Strolling Strings for an afternoon of dramatic music and song.  Experience the power and precision of one of the world's greatest military bands.
