Schools Chancellor Harold Levy has proposed spending a little under $1 million to conduct a survey of 125,000 parents and employees to find out what they think of the New York City school system. The survey, to be conducted by a private firm, would poll 10 percent of the parents whose children attend New York City schools and cost $920,500. More ...
