Mike Gianaris, Democratic Party nominee for the 36th Assembly District covering Astoria and Long Island City, recently met with Vice President Al Gore to discuss issues of importance to Astoria and Long Island City. The two candidates agreed on the need to provide greater prescription drug coverage for seniors, to clean up the environment and to improve the state of our schools.
