This week’s question: What’s exciting about going back to school?

Robert Carnes “I like science and physical education and I’m looking forward to begin with my new teacher. On the side, I love playing soccer and I like my classmates in school and friends in my church and neighborhood.” Katie McNickle “I go to Hunter College High School in Manhattan. I have some new classes that I’m taking that I didn’t take last year like health and I’m taking swimming for a half year. I look forward to seeing friends I missed during the summer.” Dan McNickle “I have mixed feelings. I’m looking forward to seeing my friends and being in class, but I don’t like the deadline.” Samantha O’Brien “Having a new teacher that I wanted, seeing old friends again. I’m excited that I will be graduating this year from fifth grade.” Patrick Fava “I’m entering fourth grade at St. Joan of Arc school. I like going back to school because I will see all of my friends again. I’ll learn a lot of new things in fourth grade.”
