The Mount Sinai Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention Program (SAVI) needs volunteer advocates to assist victims of sexual assault, sexual violence and domestic violence. Volunteers undergo a 40-hour training and are on-call once a month in local hospital emergency rooms. and can choose to work in Manhattan at Mount Sinai, Lenox Hill, Metropolitan, Harlem, North General or Cabrini Hospitals; or in Queens at Elmhurst or Mount Sinai of Queens.
