Around The Borough Of Queens

*Artist/teacher James Coughlin will offer a demonstration of acrylic painting at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 16th in the Jackson Heights Art Club’s gallery at St. Mark’s Church, 33-50 82nd St. The demonstration and refreshments are free.

Coughlin studied at the Art Students’ League and is the recipient of many awards. He is noted for painting murals for churches, synagogues and private homes.

The demonstration is part of the art club’s community outreach program and is supported by grants from the New YorkCity Department of Cultural Affairs, the New YorkState Natural Heritage Trust, the Queens Council on the Arts and the office of Claire Shulman,Queens Borough President.
